Goodnight, Mama follows children from sunrise to sunset, sharing a loving, rhyme-filled day with Mama—breakfast giggles, after-school practices and errands, dog walks, bath time, homework help, and a cozy story before bed. Each scene celebrates everyday rituals that make kids feel safe and seen, culminating in a tender goodnight that reassures little readers they’re deeply loved. Inspired by the authors’ own family memories, it’s a warm, rhythmic bedtime read that turns daily moments into a soothing end-of-day hug.

Our family LOVES this book! It is a tender & beautifully paced bedtime story that my young readers cherish. Its gentle rhythms & rhymes take me and my little ones so happy to share as our nightly ritual & has become part of our family's bedtime story tradition. This book has lots to celebrate- comfort, connection & peaceful moments. We love picking it up off our bookshelf every night!
I love this book so much!!! It echoes how each day and night are in the typical household, which I really love! A mama's love is unlike any other. She’s your biggest cheerleader and always schlepping you from one activity/practice/location to another without hesitation. She’s there always to make you feel safe and warm. Even when she may not be physically there she’s always watching out for you. Taylor is such an incredible author and we love all of her books. Great job on this book!!!
Captures all of life's daily tasks and activities with beautiful rhymes and images. Special for all moms! Will read with my kids for years to come.
As a grandparent, it’s a joy to read Goodnight, Mama with my grandchildren—they absolutely love it. The gentle rhythm and numerous familiar moments feel like a series of comforting hugs at the end of the day. For me, it’s deeply personal: it mirrors so beautifully the way my wife raised our own little ones, finding so much love and meaning in life's simple, everyday routines. It's truly a tender, reassuring bedtime treasure our little ones now constantly want us to read with them.
